Colossal Project at Vacancy Atlas

I was funded to turn an empty shop space called Vacancy Atlas into a colourful, playful, conversational pop-up print studio through the Meanwhile Use programme which is part of the delivery programme for the Interreg-funded C-Care Project and Historic England’s High Street Heritage Action Zone programme.We welcomed people from all walks of life, including disabled and non-disabled people and people with long-term health conditions (LTHC) and hidden disabilities.

Inviting them to turn their thoughts and ideas into paper-based screen-printed artworks. We intended to create an exhibition of screen prints created by all the people involved in response to the question: What do you need to be the best you can be?
