Plymouth Design Forum Collaboration

Coasters printed by Sue Lewry, available at the monthly PDF meet-up

Being part of the wider community is at the heart of everything I do. When Plymouth Design Forum founders James Edgar and Darren Foley formed PDF in 2017, it was a moment for me to test my skills and print the designs of some of the UK’s top creative talent, like Anthony Burrill, Supermundane, Kassia St Clair, Studio Build, Mr Bingo and James Edgar Studio.

“Apart from being an incredibly talented artist, designer and printmaker, Sue is one of the genuinely nice people you are ever likely to meet in, and outside of the creative industry. Sue has selflessly supported many local people, communities and events over the years, including Plymouth Design Forum. Now is the time to support her and shout about our creative talent in this city.

Colossal is a print project still in its early stages. Sue aims to create different equipment and tools necessary to expand and equip the mobile screen-printing workshop with her hands.

Sue’s creative approach engages both traditional and digital technology, and using her connections with individuals and organisations in the Plymouth area, it will enable Sue to realise her vision for Colossal.”

Reading this blog by James Edgar supporting my Colossal crowdfunder campaign is rewarding because my intentions are being reflected to me through the insight, care and attention of others surrounding me and, most of all, seen.

Thanks PDF for championing me.
