Hello, I’m Sue…

I'm a printmaker whose creative practice centres around collaborative making and photo collage. My creative journey began in a different arena—I started my career as a graphic designer and art director in London's fashion industry. In 2013, I stepped into the world of printmaking, and it was a game-changer and led me to pursue a Master's in printmaking.

Today, I run my DIY print studio at Alma Yard in Plymouth, Devon. I make high-quality print pieces and continually explore paper and textile processes, including woodworking and doll-making. Additionally, I share my expertise as a lecturer in Graphic Design and frequently take on community projects and commissions with other visual artists and organisations.

Colossal is a social project I run; see the pictures below. It's a mobile print workshop that delivers printmaking experiences, reaching a wider audience and involving communities. Through this initiative, I bring print to the people, harnessing the power of printmaking to engage and ignite creativity in others.
